Friedrich von Gerlach was a Landrat and senior provincial councillor. After his death Rohrbeck passed to "the heirs of Marie von Gerlach" (Polish local history).
An ancient noble family of the Mark and Pomerania, documented since the 13th century in the Prignitz and in Pomerania. Further details on its first mention and coat of arms remain to be added from the Genealogical Handbook of the Nobility.
