Two daughters of Carl August von Gerlach-Parsow (1883–1945) married into this family. The von Zitzewitz are an ancient noble house of Hinterpommern, of the Kutzeke stock; their line of descent begins in the records in 1168 with Dirsiko, castellan of Demmin. Alongside the Puttkamer and the Stojentin they long ranked among the foremost families of the Stolp district. Out of consideration for their descendants, this entry does not name the couples.
